This year, Waste Industries hosted the annual golf tournament for venders, partners, and team members alike to come and play 18 holes at the beautiful Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University. The all-day event was met with high spirits, positive enthusiasm, a mild chill, and even a little rain. During a ceremony held at Durham’s Fleet Management Department, Waste Industries, LLC (WI) handed over the keys of a truck valued at $91,000 to assist with the further development of the African city’s solid waste management program.
